I’ve always been interested in living a more sustainable and self-reliant lifestyle. This audiobook is straightforward and practical, which made the concept of off-grid living feel less overwhelming. It didn’t just talk about the dream of going off-grid—it laid out the ‘how-to’ in a way that made me feel confident I could actually do it. In today’s unpredictable world, being prepared is invaluable, and I’m so glad I found this.

Goes into a lot of detail you need to think about

I was raised partially off grid and this book really covers the details needed to go off grid. There is so much to consider and this book leads you through the process. It doesn't cover everything- sure, but it is a guide to tell you what you need to consider so you can go finish the research on your own.

Easy listen

The book was a good listen, just didn’t like the AI sounding voice that was used. Not terrible just too monotone for me. But overall it was good.

Informative and Exciting!

The author gave anecdotes and perspective as to how to survive off the grid. I enjoyed the narrator and the production, and listened to it instead of reading. I would love to see the author create a tactical guidebook to implementing these strategies. It's always good to be prepared. My favorite sections addressed mental health and pets which I don't always see covered in these types of books!

Simple is right!

My wife and I started looking into off-grid living during Covid and have read a few books on the topic but this book is the one that put us over the edge and made up take the plunge finally. Its simple, to the point and exactly what we needed to make the change.

It's always good to be prepared. You might know a good amount. This book can fill any gaps there may be. The world is a crazy place right now. The clear instructions are great. One of those books that is better have and not need it. Then need it and not have it. The author has done an amazing job. This is worth the cost and time to read
