Publisher's summary

First loves deserve a second chance in an all-new small-town, billionaire romance by New York Times best-selling author, K. Bromberg.

The requirement is ridiculous but simple. Spend two months in Cedar Falls, and play the mayor’s games to ensure that The Retreat, Sharpe International’s newest resort, can open. But I have a history with this small Montana town. One I’d tried to forget but never could. Asher Wells. My lavender girl.

She’d had dreams and aspirations to leave Cedar Falls and make her mark on the world. So why is she still here, standing in front of me? And more importantly, why is she looking at me with hurt in her eyes when I was the one who‘d been forced to leave or else face the damning consequences of that night?

I have everything in life: money, success, an empire to run—everything except for one very important thing. Her. Fifteen years is a long time to wonder what if. I’ll be damned if I leave town this time without her.

Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg's sexy, contemporary, billionaire romance series? Listen to On One Condition today!

I'm ugly crying

I have so many emotions at the moment the last part of the book truly had me dreaming for a love like that. Honestly relate to this story more then first one to be honest. I'm so excited to see what the third book has in store for me.

Great book, but the narration could be better

I loved the book and the male narrators voice, but the female narrator was so monotone. It was hard to listen to her chapters.

Tootie was awesome

Great narration male and female and sweet -sexy- angsty story. The young character of Tootie brought great laughs during angsty part which was genius. I am on to the next in series.

Good story but....

...the female voice narrator was sing-songy and her impersonation of the male character was cringe. The book was good but the performance made it hard to get through.

Emotional punch

Just when I didn’t think the emotional punch would be coming it came without warning. Asher and Ledger have a great story with both overcoming past obstacles I loved what a strong independent women Asher was and when Ledger had the mind opening experience of realizing she just needed someone to stand next to her not fix anything. I cannot say enough about his story which did take me a little time to get hooked into but once done no release.

The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing them to life and speaking so smoothly. .

felt like I was in a speed reading class

I loved the story. Tootie was a riot. That girl needs to show up in other places. I felt like the narration was rushed at times. As if it was being read at 2-3x the natural speed without any punctuation. At first I thought I had changed the speed accidentally but I hadn't. Other than that I enjoyed the overall performance.

Unconditionally wonderful second chance

Ledger and Asher were summer vacation friends for 3 years until they were torn apart by lies told by Ledger's father. Now 17 years later , Ledger is back to help his family get a resort built. He runs into Asher and both think the other didn't show at their meeting place. Will they be able to get past the misunderstandings? I really enjoyed this second book in this series and I'm looking forward to the next one. J.K. Harding and Muffy Newtown were wonderful narrators.

It’s ok but….

Storyline is ok. “Ledger’s” character and voice is good as he’s responsible for the 2 stars.
Female performer is horrible and annoying as hell. The whispering singsong tone is unrealistic and sounds fake. Her impression of a male voice is one of the word I’ve ever heard.
It was a tough listen but I finished it
