I'll be honest, I wasn't sure if this was going to be my kind of audiobook when all the sound effects started and at first I didn't enjoy them but once the story started going I found that I really enjoy it. It felt more like maybe an Audio play than an audiobook. By the time it ended I felt like I just watched a movie in my head which was pretty awesome. The story was flirty and fun if not a little too short. I would love to see more of these types of quick but sweet stories by Lauren Blakely because in the end I really enjoyed this one.
The narration or should I say production was great. I enjoyed all the voices and surprisingly the sound effects. The only thing I didn't love was the way the scenes changed, it just went quiet for maybe a few seconds too long and I kept wondering it that was it or if my phone stopped playing.

A fun listen
One of Those Flings by Lauren Blakely was an Audible Original Novella. It had a loaded cast which was fun to listen to, but I could do without some of the sound effects. I thought the sound effects took away from the story which I really enjoyed.
The premise of the story is an adventure to go out of your comfort zone without a man. But when you least expect it or want it, the perfect person is there. Skyler was a fun character, strong willed and so out of her comfort zone on an adventure excursion in Hawaii. Caleb is her tour guide extraordinaire and hot!
This was a fun rom-com and perfect to listen to in one setting. A perfect summer listen! I enjoyed the story but wish it was a bit longer.

Short & Sweet!
This was adorable! A fun little rom com by the fabulous Lauren Blakely narrated by an incredible cast. This was such a treat to listen to with the sound effects and story telling! Highly recommend when you’re looking for something short and sweet.

Great story!

Cute
Performances were great! The story was cute but very simplistic. The repetitive nature and lack of internal narrative left me wanting more. Kind of left like this was a sample of a larger book??? Maybe it is....

Like the performance
It was a lively story, a short one. And also it reminded me of good memories in Hawaii but i found less from Island itself but more about romance here. Still works.
