fun story continues

The narrator does a very good job. I always appreciate when a narrator can do different voices and make them sound good. This is another fun story in the Renegade universe from a different and enjoyable angle. Easy read/listen and fun adventure!

Cliffhanger - again

I really hate being left hanging, but it must be an effective device, as I keep buying the next book! Great narration and character development, awesome world-building. You'll love it!

Awesome series..

Dean Slade is crazy, funny and brave. And I can't wait to read the 4the book. They've tried so hard to survive against to aliens that was always trying to kill them.

No romance and no swearing.

As for the narration: I love Ray Porter. He could read every book for me and I'd be happy.

Interesting story with a great narrator

This series feels more like incremental releases of the same bigger novel. The timeline is condensed and the characters don’t go through jumps in development between books, but it’s still quite enjoyable! My only complaint was Ray Porter forgetting for several chapters that he reads Ricky with a Hispanic accent. Ricky was just randomly a white dude from Ohio. 😂

Great third installment

Great action series. I love how the characters change and grow as the story unfolds. The description and atmosphere of the alien world are well thought out. These books are fun to read and have great bits of sarcastic humor. The Audible books are narrated by the magnificent Ray Porter. But they are very short novels, so if you can get them when they are on sale, rather than spending a full credit on them, it's a better deal.

Loving the series!

I’ve enjoyed Ray Porter for the first two books in this series. I’m guessing there must have been a lot of time between voicing book #2 and this one. For some reason in this book, he gave Ricky a hillbilly type voice with a southern drawl instead of Hispanic like in the first 2 books. But what’s crazy is that it changed during the book. Ricky started off Southern and by the end, he was back to Hispanic. What the heck? And the doctor who was American sounding in the prior books is now maybe Irish or Scottish sounding. Ray did a good job overall, but he switched up the accents way too much - both from the prior books and still within this one. There were some other voices whose accents were changed as well. The story line was great and I’m really looking forward to the next book. I’m going through this series pretty quick. Fingers crossed Ray doesn’t switch up voices again.

Nice slow burn

Nice slow burn and I mean that in a good way. Too many times it go go go but this one series is slow and steady with hard jabs placed at the right moment to keep to story at a nice slow burn.

This one is the best of the series

So far, I’ve really enjoyed books one and two but book 3 was great very enjoyable. Listen couldn’t stop listening.
