I loved the story. The plot started very well, it became too easy to wrap it up at the end. The narrator did well.

This is book 3 of Chicago Mafia Vows and a standalone story of the Vincenzio crime family. This story contains dark issues, infidelity, murder, and how the people in the mob deal with this. It does have a happy ending.

From the first sentence to the very last one, I was a captive audience.

Paul and Aisling

Paul is a little bitter about marriages and love. He is a Capo in the Chicago outfit along with his brothers. After a failed marriage, Bobby is asking his brother to take the plunge again. With Bobby taking time away from a family business – Fielding Enterprises, Paul has to step up. Aisling is an intern who works for Fielding Enterprises. She is shy and doesn’t really fit in with everyone else. Paul is taken in by her and decides to make her his assistant. He buys her clothes and expects her to bend to his will. Aisling was always taken by Bobby and is very disappointed that Paul seems to be nothing like his brother.

While this story is going on, we also learn that Bobby has his wife committed to a mental institution because she wants to leave him. Bobby is such a snake and cheats on his wife while she is away, while Gwen grows closer to her doctor.

This could have been a 5 star book, but I feel like it focused more on Bobby and Gwen instead of Paul and Aisling.

HES THE LEADER NOW

Paul and Aisling. Paul is sharing the mafia duties with brother Bobbie. When Bobbies wife is injured he takes over the control. Then he has to re marry to Aisling. Drama, intrigue danger, arranged marriage (again), mafia power struggle, all the mafia stuff that makes a good read.

Great Story

This is another well written story and the narrator has done good job with narration. It’s Paul and Aisling story . Paul is a mafia boss and is CEO of his brother company and Aisling is the intern. There are sparks when they meet . It was a captivating and fast paced story.

Paul Vincenzio!

This is the third story in the "Chicago Mafia Vows" series. You should read the first book in the series first. The second should be read prior to this one to add more clarity but it is not completely necessary. The story does have connected characters and Bobby and Gwen, from the first story, are in this one as well. I think this is one of these stories I probably would have enjoyed more reading than listening too. The narration really took away from the story. The narration at times sounded like the reader was in a tunnel, or can, and often times sounded robotic. The story is about Paul, Bobby's brother, and Aisling. The story is highly erotic and does contain some possible triggers. Since, Gwen was injured in the last story, Paul has had to step into Bobby's shoes as acting CEO for the company. Aisling is an intern and is put into Paul's assistant/secretary. The sparks definitely fly between these two. She is innocent and sheltered. He is a complete man whore. I could not stand him at first. I really like to see him grow, develop and really fall in love with the characters and their story. Bobby is a complete snake and what he does to Gwen is inexcusable and horrible. That aside the Paul and Aisling portion of the story is good with danger, suspense, violence, passion, family, mafia, betrayal, love and much more. Intriguing and addictive read but not so crazy about the narration.
