excellent way to learn German

A couple words were mispronounced (Wann ➡️ Juan), but usually was perfect in pronunciation. overall very good, and it teaches very well.

So far so good (have just finished unit 10).
Hope It doesn't stay in this formal way of speaking until the end of the course.
But by now, it's just perfect.

I like the woman Frau, because she is outgoing.

We had a good time saying dot druben and my daughter liked that Herr sounds like hair.

This is the second set of units in pimslur's German course and I'm continuing to make progress. At this point I think I could ask any german speaking person to have a drink (wine, beer or coffee) with me at their or my place. So singles take note.

At the end of lesson 10 there is a written component at the end of each lesson; they recommend that you don't do this portion of the lesson while driving and I agree. There is an issue with accompanying PDF. You will need to download it from the page for unit 1-5 as it is incomplete from this page

Good for learning for English speakers.

It's a very good learning method. But there is a catch: you have to be almost fluent in English language. I say that, because I am not an English speaker native, my mother tongue is Portuguese. Overall, if you try this method of learning, it's very hard to forget what you've learned. As any language, there is no magic for studying it. You should repeat it on and on, and speak it out loud, to fix phrases and new words.

I re-listen to all of the Pimsleur language learning audio books I have so I can learn the language I'm learning better.

Any other Pimsleur language lesson audiobook is good to listen to if you want to learn a language. I have learned how to habla espanol this way and I am now learning German.

What does Pimsleur bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There is no story except for the conversations that you learn to say and answer throughout the audiobook lessons.

This is a language learning book. All of Pimsleur's language learning audiobooks are amazing. I guarantee that by the end of the first 5 lessons you will be able to have a simple conversation.. and at the end of 20 you'll understand them and really be able to ask for what you need. Worth it!!

Very helpful in learning to speak and understand German. The speakers are clear with good pronunciation.

Great Language Program

Great language program. I wish I knew that I needed an accompanying study book though. Despite that, it still deserves 5 stars. I definitely recommend it.

Although each book does not gives you a huge amount of vocabulary. It helped me tremendously! I'm very glad with this purchase. I was not expecting to so efficient. But it is. And you will fill it in the first class.
