Beautifully done!

I absolutely love the language and flow of this novel. It is one of my all time favorites. Having read it myself at least 6 times I decided to try it on audible.
I LOVED it!
To hear the flow and ease of the language being spoken was beautiful. So many times I would rewind just to hear the spoken sentence again.
Rosamund Pike does a masterful job in her voices that I had no problem knowing who was speaking and when. I found myself drawn into the story and lives of some of my favorite literary characters in ways I had not yet enjoyed.
I highly recommend this book on audible!!

A pure joy!

Rosamond Pike’s reading of this classic is pitch perfect. The most wonderful distraction during these difficult times.

STORY IS A CLASSIC, TERRIBLE NARRATOR

AUSTEN FANS BEWARE. This narrator sounds like she isn't opening her mouth properly when she reads dialogue. I'm sure she's a lovely person, but I was really dissapointed with the mumbling. I also feel like she doesn't know the historical nouns she's reading, or at least their socioeconomic implications (which honestly isn't that hard to derive from context).
Juliet Stevenson is the best Austen narrator.

Rosamund Pike could not have been more perfect to narrate this story. It was absolutely gorgeous to listen to, with beautiful characterization.

Rosamund Makes Pride and Prejudice Come Alive

I was hesitant to purchase this version of Pride and Prejudice because I have read the book so many times in the past. What could this version possibly add? Well, it adds so much depth and color to the story. You can see the characters come alive Worth Rosamund Pike’s narration. Of course the story is wonderful, but it’s the narration that truly sets this version apart. I will devour anything else Rosamund Pike wants to read to me!

Rosamund Pike is an excellent narrator, and her interpretations of each character add to the depth, humor, and emotion found in Austen's writing. Fantastic!
