Best story of love and forgiveness ever!
This is with out a doubt the best book I have ever read! I read my sister in laws copy while I was laid up in hospital with my back and I could not put it down. So when I got home I downloaded it for my husband to listen to in the truck. It is the perfect love story reminding us not only of how commited and forgiving real love should be but most importantly reminds us of how God is so ever patient and forgiving of us though we repeatedly prostitute our selves to the world. Would recomend this bokk to every one!

Powerful, eventually
Any additional comments?
The story is entertaining/heartbreaking but the pace is a little slow. The author talks slowly and the writing is a bit fluffy, so it takes awhile to move the plot forward. (We listened to it at an accelerated speed and it didn't feel rushed at all) However, once my fiance and I got into the heart of the story, we were hooked. It was a very powerful message that left us both feeling convicted and encouraged. The ending is so perfect that it made every exaggerated pause was well worth it!! We all need to hear this story.

What did you like best about this story?
I love how Hosea's amazing love for Angel is paralleled with God's amazing love for us! It reminds me a fresh and new of who I am to Him. I am His bride!
What does Kate Forbes bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Kate Forbes is an excellent narrator! She separates characters well. With just the right pitch and tone, she puts you right in the middle of the story.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes! One of my two favorite parts was when Hosea fought his way out of the brothel. The other was at the end when she finally told him her name.
Any additional comments?
I have loved everything I've ever read by Francine Rivers. I always seem to see myself somewhere in her book. She is probably my favorite author.

I underestimated this book!
This is a great story of the Love of God. I must say I am impatient and thought the story would end when she came home the second time. Michael's live and patience frustrated me, as I am very human and have difficulty understanding sometimes God's love for me after time and time again I disappoint myself. This is a remarkable story. Highly recommend!

Incredible story - one of the best
Francine has managed to put the story of God's love for us into a setting and story our human minds can comprehend and relate to. Every character in this story has life changing lessons to give. Which character will you relate to the most? I know I don't have the patience of Michael Hosea but reading about his trust in God and faithfulness to God's Will has inspired me to *try* to be more forgiving in my own personal life. I cried, laughed, and triumphed with the characters in this story and you will too! I can see why this book is used to help people overcome past trauma - anyone hurting from invisible scars will especially take heart in this book. Can't say enough about this title. Download it! Right now! :)
