But Rover is a lighthearted wanderer as well, always ready for an adventure.
This ingenious look at a dog's life from his own point of view is never "cute". It offers ground-level perspectives on human life. The sometimes humorous, sometimes dreadful perils a dog faces are strangely believable. It's a book that will captivate every dog lover and, indeed, everyone who enters Rover's world.
