Jude Craig is a level-headed teacher in a Yorkshire secondary school. Within a matter of days her professional and personal life is shattered by a series of strange events in her house. What starts with the sound of papers fluttering to the floor quickly escalates to her discovering that someone has been in the house whilst she is sleeping. When Jude is driven out of her job and home she is forced to discover whether she is being haunted, stalked by a pupil, or the terrifying possibility that she is losing her mind.

Running from Dust

I was leery about an author narrating her own book. This was a nice surprise! Once you turn the spee up a bit,it flows nicely and is actually quite good! The storyline is amazing, and believable.I loved it! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Amazing psychological thriller you wont forget!

Jude is a school teacher living with her dog Oscar. She starts hearing and seeing and even smelling things. She cant figure out if someone is stalking her, if she is being haunted or if she is simply going mad.

Wow! What a terriffic psychological thriller! It kept me guessing throughout and on the very edge of my seat! There was continuous build up in the story with totally unpredictable twists! If you think yoy have figured it out, think again!

Jess narrated brilliantly! She has good intonation and energy and made the book even more exciting. I look forward to hearing more of her stories narrated by her!

I absolutely recommend this book to everyone! It is brilliant and i will likely listen to it again!

Note: This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this objective review voluntarily.

Running from Dust

While I liked the idea of this story it missed the mark for this listener. The idea that we do not know just what is going on grabbed my attention. Could it be a stalker, could Jude be having a break down or could it even be paranormal? This is an interesting plot, but this book is overwritten for me, it drags, and some parts of the story are not really relevant or interesting. There are a lot of times where you think ok now, we are getting somewhere only for things to be dragged on for more chapters. Some of the reasoning for the characters doing what they did was not explained well enough for me. The alcohol and drug use in this story was a bit over the top and completely ignored as a problem by any others in this story. The epilogue brings an interesting twist to this story and wraps up some lose ends. Jess Whitby gives the narration to the book. Although she speaks clearly and at a good pace there is not a lot of emotion given to these characters.
