I loved this one! This series is one of my faves and this book was no different! These mob guys are off the charts 🥵🥵

Intriguing & Intense! Fantastic Story & Narration🎧

Eva Winners delivers more “Belles & Mobsters” greatness, and this book is just as amazing and exciting as the other books in the series that I have listened to and loved. This book brings us Sasha Nikolaev and Branka Russo’s story and wow, what a story it is, complex and multilayered. Sasha served with Mia, he was protective of her, but her demons got the best of her and she made him promise to watch over her younger sister, Branka and brother Alessio. It was a promise he took to heart and followed through on, but always keeping his distance. He fell head over heals for Branka, but she is still young and finding herself. He reappears in her life a few years later and Branka wanted him too, but he felt the timing was not right yet, though he asked her to wait for him and he would wait for her. Wow, just wow, this romance was seven years in the making and a lot goes on during that time, but she continued to wait for him. She gives up on him after seeing him with someone else. Her brother wants her to marry, and she tells him she is ready, and he gives her choices. When Sasha finds out her pending nuptials, he goes ballistic and calls in his favors, starting with Alessio and then others. Her marriage to anyone but him is not happening. Sasha is one of my favorite characters, he is so intense, and he knows what he wants and is determined to get it. Hearing his backstory of his childhood was heart-rending, and so was Branka’s, her father was an evil man. The writing, plotting and world building are fantastic and so are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment in this book and it has the perfect balance of drama, angst, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a romance years in the making. Eva Winners, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧And for the wonderful narration, Brooke Daniels and JF Harding were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and do so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying, giving each a voice that suits that character and was believable in every role they played. Brooke Daniels nailed it as Branka, grasping every side of her personality, from her vulnerabilities to her strength and determination. JF Harding’ Sasha was perfection, from his possessive alphatude to his protectiveness. Both were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another outstanding listen.

LOVED Sasha 🥰 BUT too much back story 4/5

First & foremost, this book is worth listening to because of the main male character, Sasha. He is an alluring, beautifully damaged, board-line stalker bad boy with major bedroom “skills” that will have you understanding exactly why she waited soooo long for them to finally get together 😉😉 This book had me hooked by chapter four or five because it started off rather slow. Initially, the beginning of this audio was too descriptive and provided an unnecessary back story for all the characters. BUT when the main characters FINALLY connected…I was sold!!! Definitely worth a credit 👍

omg, I love this book. I think this one is my favorite so far. Branka and Sarah are so meant to be together. you can tell she's a bit on the crazy side just like him. I enjoyed every bit of this book. it has a bit of everything action, drama, and some humor 🤣 . the narrators did an amazing job.

Sasha

Sasha is the 6th book in the Belles and Mobsters series. This book is about Sasha and
Branka, and is told from both of their points of view.

When Sasha and Branka meet Sasha has already known her for years. He's been stalking her. This book had so much going on. Lots of things happened in the past, and some in the present, to bring these two characters to where they are today.

These characters had a lot of banter back and forth which I found hilarious, but there was also some serious stuff as well.

I enjoyed this story, and seeing how it all played out. There were some triggers so if things get to you, I would check that out first.

I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.

This is the sixth book in the Belles & Mobsters series. This is Sasha’s book. He couldn’t save his friend Mia. He promised to watch over her sister and brother. He became obsessed with Branka as she became a woman. He was going to make her love him. Brooke Daniels and JF Harding did a phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style narration.

I enjoy reading this series but she over uses words, if I heard the word sardonic one more time I was going to scream.

another amazing mafia listen!

although this is book six of the series, you don’t have to listen to the other books to understand! the author provides enough backstory to introduce the main characters & their worlds. i loved this book & how sasha & branka were able to come together despite the heartbreaks they’ve had in their lives.

brooke daniels was a great narrator for branka. j.f. harding as sasha was perfection. both narrators fit the characters so well, their voices lured me in!
