Publisher's summary

The final tale in the intense Scabs trilogy

I was created by human emotion; love, elation, hate, fear, desperation. On occasion, I awaken and become aware. It is always triggered by humanity's cry for help. - Kokumthena

Scott, Warren, and Missy Walsh did not understand what their roles were to be when the omnipresent light first blinked on. They believed their only obligation was to find a safe place for their small family to escape what was happening all around them. But fate would not allow them to hide away in the North Carolina cabin for long.

Now, with their number hovering near a dozen survivors, they must work together - along with Koku, the flawed, self-aware goddess with a long-term memory problem - to preserve Earth for humanity's occupation.

Earth Canyon Retreat is their sanctuary for the moment, but as the invaders make adjustments, so must the survivors. As the winged, clawed, and fanged monsters ravage all life forms on Earth, working toward their goal of total annihilation, these ragtag remnants of humanity must find some way to drive the interlopers from the planet.

For when humanity dies, so do its Gods...once and for all.

Great series. Highly recommend

This was well written story. I reread I and II before I read the final book. I think it is especially delightful that the author did the audible narration. It does add a special flavor to the series.

Thank you Eric!!

I absolutely enjoyed this series

Overall this is a very great series. I like the uniqueness of the plot. I did get annoyed at bits and pieces of the last book Scabs 3, but the author ended the series very satisfactory. I really liked that I could not predict what would happen to the characters, but struggled with some of the choices they made. Even with the few annoyances I'm glad I read this series. I was hooked on the first book, and couldn't wait for book 2 and 3. It did not disappoint.

Great Ending to the Trilogy !

Great ending and good story. However the many stupid questions while they were in the mist of danger and possible death was so annoying!! The standing there asking what's happening or what's that lead to people getting killed . The dumb questions they were asking Matthew and they took too long to leave when he told them we have to leave now got him killed !!! I just felt with all the characters have been through they just should've been smarter with their safety . Who cares If you pee in front of each other instead walking away from the vehicle and getting attacked. Also why are you trying to dig people out of scabs in middle of a fight with them. I think they fought smarter in the 1st and 2nd book . Overall the trilogy was brilliant and very well written aside from that dumb things that annoyed me I really enjoyed all three books. #highfive Eric !

Not sure

Not sure I like the ending, but let me think on it. As was stated I. The beginning not e everyone can be happy. A trilogy is hard to write. So we'll have to go with 98 percent favorable. Was so caught up in the story. Will be sad to have to let it go. Recommended

Narrated well but...

I had been eagerly awaiting the third book in this series and am actually a bit disappointed. The alien angle did not do it for me at all - also, Koku sudden shift in vernacular was off-putting.

First one great, second ok, third kinda fizzled

1st off for everybody thinking this is a zombie trilogy or book it is not I know that a comes up in a list that includes zombie books but it is absolutely not is.
The book is more an alien book.
Without trying give too much away it starts out making you think it's going be a zombie books
, but very soon in you realize that's not the case.

I will have to admit that the 1st book was very interesting and had me Wanting to know more, the 2nd book, however, I don't know missed on so many points with their characters and somewhat convoluted spiritual/celestial leader. This book just was making so many decisions that worked counter intuitive to Save each other and the .
It just didn't work in the 3rd book. Honestly it's like he didn't know what to write.
He just needed to get it done in he really didn't leave anywhere to go.
It just kind of ended in this horrible new dystopian world after these people had fought so hard and lost so much and sort of instead of giving you and them some type of hope really just brought back into a focus how horrible the world was and continues to be.
Anyway I would suggest that u not spend your credits on these unless they're free go find another good book
Sorry but that's my opinion
