Table of Contents

This book contains the following stories:

"The Keeper" by H. Beam Piper
"Stolen Brains" by S. P. Meek
"The Flying City" by H. Thompson Rich
"Innocent At Large" by Poul Anderson and Karen Anderson
"Subspace Survivors" by E. E. Smith

The stories by Piper and the Andersons are the best by far. "Keeper" is an intense and gritty wilderness quest set in a far future Earth. "Innocent at Large" is a sociological story about the societies of a future Earth and its Mars colony, in particular as they relate to con games. The other three stories are entertaining enough and have likeable characters.

Not recomended

The stories in this collection are both dated and mostly not in my taste.
the narrator not helping the cause.
