Rare to find a romance that keeps my attention persistently, but this one did. “Action packed” with complex story lines that weave together. Ends on a cliffhanger!

Pirate spice, yes, please! This book in intense from the magic system, the betrayal, hate, love, honor, and loyalty! This admire to enemies to lovers to mates? Is phenomenal! So excited to know the rest of the story since it left us on a massive cliffhanger!

I love Continuation of a series but with a different story and some different characters this Book was so Good and slow burn Enemies to lovers great spice levels and I forgot how much I missed Sprig that honey loving Monkey 🐒

Tension

First off I love the whole world that Stacey Marie Brown has created. This book is a great continuation of that world and it’s so fun to have past characters show up in this one. The tension between Kat and Croygen is so good! Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2.

The story is told with such passion

Not only was the writing and the story incredible but the male and female audible narrators did a phenomenal job! I can’t wait to start the next book

It's Just Ok... With One Particular ICK!

It's an "ok" story, and that pretty much sums it up. I was very surprised by all of the 5 star reviews. They don't seem very realistic considering some of the BEST books still have cons.

Pros:
It's a fairly slow burn and not too quick to romance🌶
It's about pirates
Voice actors were great!

Cons:
Minimal world building
Lots of random characters who you're supposed to know but have no background about.
It's not easy to imagine the time period this happened during. it's set in the future, however, magic happens and all technology is gone? idk.
Plot is all over the place

Why is the MMC so into girls who are younger than him?! he knew them when they were little girls and watched them grow up!! YUCK! For the life of me I have no clue why no one pointed this out in the other reviews.

I wanted more but got what I paid for. it's interesting enough to pass the time but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
