too long
understand it covered several generations and offered a lots of historical context, I stayed with it because I wanted to see how and where the lives of the characters ended up. The ending was so abrupt, I almost missed it and had to go back a minute and relisten to tie it up in my mind
A real good offering that all Indians or their language and traditions are the same and how that translated across regions way beyond what Westerners know about in cast divisions.
I specifically got it because of the Tamil focus; that was rich, thus my overall rating
