Publisher's summary

Seventeen-year-old Tayla will never forget Beast's fiery-venom spreading through her body like an infection. Now, with her best friend Chel's help, she must find a human true love before the last petal falls from her enchanted rose or the full moon will transform her into a wolf forever. But Tayla never expected that her biggest obstacle would come from inside - a wolf presence threatening to take her very soul. At every turn, the she-wolf exploits Tayla's weaknesses and gains enough control to sabotage her dates. Tayla struggles to control her unruly wolf and her forbidden attraction to Beast. But can she resist his southern charm, the she-wolf's attraction to his alluring scent, and still fall in love with a human? Tangled in a web of wills, Tayla must risk everything to break the Curse of the Beast. With failure and possible death looming overhead, Tayla will do anything to find true love. But will one moon cycle be long enough to conquer her wolf and remain human? Or will she become a permanent member of Beast's pack?

Amazing, Beautiful, and Bright

I have a new look on Beauty and the Beast from this story!
My mom first introduced the book to me because she was the editor of the first book. Then she got me caught in the book. The sensory language you use is amazing! I love this story by heart! I couldn't stop listening to it when I started it. I had to know what happend next! If you listen to this story I hope you agree.
Tayla is a strong stubber women and fights back to her abusive date and also calms Beast down in the possess of keeping her own wolf at bay.
If you love Beauty and the Beast you have to read this! Omg I am not kidding!
Ashley Lavering is an amazing author and I hope she keeps writing. She has amazing talent and I envy it! Ashley Lavering I am a beginner writer and goodness your stories were so strong the first one made me cry because of how you tied me to the characters! With your choice of words. Please keep writing these kinds of books. Thank you for writing an amazing book series I loved it ❤ it touched my heart

Tayla finally accepts herself

The narration was just okay but the book still wasn't engaging. At the end of book 1, Tayla had been infected by a werewolf (wolves are made). Tayla did not want to be a wolf and she fought the she-wolf inside her in her attempt to retain her humanity.

In an effort to distance herself from Beast and their bond, she started dating other men. She began a relationship with the senator's son (first the most popular football quarterback in book 1, now another highly sought after bachelor). Part of Tayla couldn't discount this guy's cruelty and the fact that she kept feeling the pull of the moon.

Beast confessed to her about her mother (end of book 1) and Tayla's place in the pack but that isn't the future she wants. Tayla wants to break the curse and be free of the wolf. But is she willing to turn her back on the bond she shares with Beast?

There was more supernatural elements in this sequel than in book 1. I think this book could be more enjoyable if one completely separates the original Beauty and the beast story from your mind. I just don't feel pulled into this story.
