Good balance of stories and narration
I enjoyed this collection very much. Each story opened a door to a new life, perspective, age, gender, genre and view of the world. For all the darkness that's contained in these 12 pieces, there is merriment, mystery and intrigue, but more than any of this there are truly relatable humans - and remarkably interesting robots - that kept me hooked and coming back to listen to more all day. Just as skilled as JT Lawrence is at writing books, so Roshina Ratnam is equally adept at narrating them and this material, with its abundant variety of characters, contexts and genres is nothing she can't tackle - and tackle well. Roshina is well-suited to JT's books, and I look forward to hearing from her. It's a solid 5 from me!
