The master at his scarifying best! From heart-pounding terror to the eeriest of whimsy - tales from the outer limits of one of the greatest imaginations of our time! Trucks that punish and beautiful teen demons who seduce a young man to massacre; curses whose malevolence grows through the years; obscene presences and angels of grace - here, indeed, is a night-blooming bouquet of chills and thrills.

Publisher's summary
The Lux Radio Theatre was one of radio's most popular series, attracting Hollywood's top stars and boasting a lavish budget. It began in 1934 by featuring dramas from Broadway, but there was not enough material to support the show. In an attempt to reverse the slipping ratings, the show was moved to Hollywood in 1936, where there was plenty of material and talent. In fact, filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille often served as the host.

Well done.
Very good production. I enjoyed this adaptation of the movie, it stayed true to story. Lux Radio Theater was very great at doing movie adaptations, so it's not surprising that this was as good as it was.
