Resumen del Editor

The seventh book of this dark urban fantasy series follows necromancer Eric Carter through a world of vengeful gods and goddesses, mysterious murders, and restless ghosts.

Family is murder.

When Eric Carter helps a friend with a deadly ritual that could determine the fate of the most powerful mage family in Los Angeles he steps into the middle of centuries-long feuds with people who make the Borgias look like the Brady Bunch.

Eric's just fine with the murder, soul eaters, and death magic. He's just having trouble adjusting to being brought back from the grave.

If he's not careful, somebody's going to put him right back.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Performed by Michael John Casey, Rana Kay, Nora Achrati, Aure Nash, Nick DePinto, Kimberley Gilbert, Yasmin Tuazon, Nazia Chaudhry, Terence Aselford, Dawn Ursula, Chris Stinson, Elizabeth Jernigan, Troy Allan, Stephen Carpenter, Amanda Forstrom, Jeri Marshall, Carolyn Kashner, David Cui Cui, Chris Davenport, K'Lai Rivera, Rayner Gabriel, and Robb Moreira.

Everything about this was great! I was sad when the story ended. I was badly to get to the next book. Please more of this and faster. Please and thank you.

huge plot hole that makes the whole story fall apart (from where I am)

ok, I'm liking the story but the issue is the new age language. now before anyone reads the reviews a few things.
1:I just started and haven't completed the book. this plot hole may get filled in later.
2: leave IRL politics out of this. I'm seeing it as is writing no sub writing.
3: this is an issue with me as I don't like major plot holes.
ok that being said here is the issue.

wally is trans, Carter stated. "if you say you are trans the universe accepts you whether other mages do not". I'm paraphrasing. the duel states that men are the only ones allow to fight. ok fair. Amanda said it her self that she can wipe the floor with her cousin. so the plot hole is why doesn't Amanda just say she's a man and fight her cousin to win.

that's major plot hole that cant be overlooked since it will kill the story of so fast.

all in all it's Good so far. if anything changes I will rewrite or delete the review

performance was great; story a let down.

I've really enjoyed this series, and I'm generally easy to provoke a 5 star review out of, but this book left me rolling my eyes and irritated at the unnecessary cliffhanger. the voice acting in this was, as always, great. kudos to graphic audio. the half-a-story was not great. I've followed this story all the way down, but this is likely where I get off. I don't mind rolling, seemingly never ending series, but these books were already running short, and this one felt like it was a placeholder designed to wring a regular payment out of loyal fans. really disappointing.
