Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Mystics and sages have long maintained that there exists an interconnecting cosmic field at the roots of reality that conserves and conveys information, a field known as the Akashic record. Recent discoveries in vacuum physics show that this Akashic field is real and has its equivalent in science's zero-point field that underlies space itself. This field consists of a subtle sea of fluctuating energies from which all things arise: atoms and galaxies, stars and planets, living beings, and even consciousness.

Story
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

The secret to happiness is to acknowledge and transform suffering, not to run away from it. Here, Thich Nhat Hanh offers practices and inspiration transforming suffering and finding true joy. Thich Nhat Hanh acknowledges that because suffering can feel so bad, we try to run away from it or cover it up by consuming. We find something to eat or turn on the television. But unless we’re able to face our suffering, we can’t be present and available to life, and happiness will continue to elude us.

Story
Human and divine energies complement each other; when joined, they become a potent catalyst for true magick and change. Celtic Myth & Magick describes the energies of over 300 cross-referenced Celtic deities and heroic figures so you can quickly determine which one can best help you in attaining specific goals through magick - such as greater prosperity (Cernunnos), glowing health (Airmid), or a soul partner (Aengus MacOg). This guidebook explains how to use creative Pagan ritual and pathworking to align yourself with the energy of these powerful archetypes.

Story
The poems of the Poetic Edda have waited a long time for a modern English translation that would do them justice. Here it is at last (Odin be praised!) and well worth the wait. These amazing texts from a 13th-century Icelandic manuscript are of huge historical, mythological, and literary importance, containing the lion's share of information that survives today about the gods and heroes of pre-Christian Scandinavians, their unique vision of the beginning and end of the world, etc.

Story
Though the Celtic civilization has long disappeared, lingering traces of their spirituality haunt Ireland and the surrounding land. Translated from their original languages - Gaulish, Latin, Irish, and Welsh - the passages and stories in Celtic Spirituality are true artifacts of the Celts' vibrant and varied religion from both the pre-Christian and early Christian period. From a ritual of magical inspiration to stories of the ancient gods and adventures of long-forgotten heroes, Freeman has unearthed a stunning collection of Celtic work.

garbage
The first two parts of the book aren't particularly interesting, as they introduce the different realms and most of the gods very superficially. Sadly, the author couldn't even get all of the god's sexes correct.
The next two parts, however, are absolutely terrible. They discuss runes and famous artifacts of the gods. They sound like somebody got cheapo word-of-the-day toilet paper which made the author feel really really smart. It would have been nice if it had helped. Clearly, she didn't use enough of the toilet paper because she reuses the same 5 adjectives over and over, and the whole thing is covered in crap.
If she actually did just the tiniest bit of research instead of regurgitating the same modernized garbage you can find anywhere nowadays, it might have been engaging. Instead, I suffered through as much of it as I possibly could in order to be able to write this review and save you all from wasting hours of your lives on this drivel.
If you want some good (well-written) entertainment and great stories based on actual Norse Mythology, do yourself a favor and listen to Neil Gaiman's "Norse Mythology".

Boring
The book sounded like it was read by a robot that is incapable of annunciating names. Every chapter the cosmos was referenced to and it just felt like when it came to a deity it was just an intro and then a conclusion. 10/10 would not recommend.

Say "Tapestry" again
Was this even written by a human? It's mostly filler content in the form of unnecessary introductuons ans conclusions. Some shit about 'exploring the cosmos' and turning pages. All information is presented twice, first via definition, and then being told to "visualize" or "imagine" the thing that was just defined. You don't get to hear any of the actual stories, just extremely vague descriptions of them.
