Publisher's summary

Emerson Clarke: Sarcastic. Independent. Possibly losing her mind.

Because that's the only explanation for why she occasionally sees things that aren't there, right? But one night, an impossible power erupts from her, and Em realizes the truth is crazier than she ever thought: she isn't losing her mind; she's magical.

Thrown into an entirely new world of faeries, enchantments - and the annoying guy from down the road who, it turns out, isn't human either - Em barely has time to learn even the most basic of magic before another startling truth reveals itself: she has a Griffin Ability. A special kind of magic feared by most fae. Now she's at the top of everyone's most-wanted list - including the mysterious glass faerie carrying out random attacks on fae.

In this magical and terrifying world that she's entirely unprepared for, Em must try to figure out who she really is, whom to trust, and how to stay alive long enough to get back to her normal life.

Not too bad!

It’s a very cool story about Emmy. It took me awhile to warm up with Emmy. She has a pretty feisty, bitter, close in personality but once you get to know her throughout the book, you start to like her little by little. Trust is an issue with Emmy especially when she discovered her magical power. Sad to say, she didn’t have any trust in the Human realm, either. Eck, it’s probably why it was a bit tough for me in the beginning of the book to read/listen-the lead character is hard to grasp of how she can be, her attitude isn’t so pretty like Vi or Calla. Overall, I truly like how things have changed in the Faerie realm. I will still continue reading it because the end gave a nice cliff hanger! (Audio Narrator portrays all the characters well!)

Cliffhanger!

I love this series, and this book is really good. But it is really dissatisfying to be left with a huge cliffhanger without the rest of the books available on audible for me to finish.

Wonderful series

I purchased this entire series in audible form so I can listen while driving, sewing and other chores. Book one grabbed me and I couldn't wait to get to the next...until I finished book six and then had to wait..and wait for book seven - The Glass Fairy - to first, come out and then, come out in Audible. If you enjoy fantasy and fairies in particular, then you can't help but love these books!!

Audio version was just as good as the book!

I read the Creep Hollow series a few years ago and enjoyed it so much that I saved up and slowly bought myself the Audible version. I was not disappointed.

It was so much fun to visit Creepy Hollow again. Thank you to the narrator for bringing this book alive!
