Frustrated

Frustrated that I paid for story that was already in this full book series. Waste

Short, a bit on the nose, overly simple, but

This book belongs to that class of Sjalzi books that are mostly banter. Adults cutting each other down, endlessly. I find it very tedious. But all in all Scalzi's a good writer, a good entertainer, and so I stick with it.

Enjoyable but flawed.

"...she said. He said...and she said...." Talented author, poor wordsmith. Another issue is the length. The credit to duration ratio is pathetic. I'm not going to read any further in this series for this reason alone.

Greater Understanding of the B-Team. Great Team!

Narrator very good; gotten familiar with him now. I didn't struggle to re-hear this part; enjoyed it.

Not great Scalzi

I typically enjoy Scalzi. I understand this is episodic, but I’m glad it was short. Not really interested in knowing what’s next.

Good book but choppy writing

Book was good overall by narration suffered from the large amount of Wilson said, Schmidt said, Wilson said, Schmidt said dialogue tags

I believe the short sory is hard to do.

If you could sum up The B-Team in three words, what would they be?

I enjoyed the story. I am appreciative John Scalzi's skill to tell a story, screen play, or to help make theater in my mind with written words. I am looking for and reading the stuff he done. I think author is adept writing for television, theater, or movie script story production. Characters are developed but there is a common culture, and era of time of current popular culture. I think tis is something that older readers will discern.

The narration is excellent and performs great. The narration performance is as much the story as the written material. Not everybody gets excellent evaluation from me. However, it does seem so at times. I believe the level of pnarration performance talent out here is high in the common market of narration performers.

I await the science fiction next production from Mr. Scalzi. I will read collections of even shorter stories he has recently appears.

What did you like best about this story?

Not a short story.

Have you listened to any of William Dufris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

None I recall..
I am seeking to experience more.

Too much “...he said...she said...”

I liked the story more than I expected, but the phrases “he said...”, “she said...”, and “they said...”, was so often repeated that it would have been a distraction had I not remembered that I only paid $.69...perspective changed...it’s a good story!😊
