In the far future, a dormant android awakes on a vast starship to find humanity's last hopes rest with him.

Waste of time
I couldn’t get past the half hour mark in this book. The characters were obnoxious or at best unremarkable. I thought the introduction was annoying and obtuse. The narration was also subpar.
