Out Of Breath

From the first sentence of the story to the last…the tension..the build up. I felt it all in my chest as if I were in the story. Had to hit pause at times to literally catch my breath! Writing, story, narration…all the best!

Great story

Love Don Winslow books. This was another great story. It took me a while to get into the narrator. But he did a great job.

Good first read!

I Really enjoyed the narrator and the action. The characters had great many different personalities in the book!

Brilliantly written and narrated. But hard to listen to.

As always, a wonderfully crafted story from Don Winslow. At the same time this was possibly the darkest read I’ve done in a while, where everything and everyone, sympathetic villain or flawed hero, end in destruction. Different genre of course but this hit me viscerally like a Joe Abercrombie novel.

The characters and stories Don Winslow brings to life are so real, so gritty, so compelling. What a fantastic author he is. The narration was pretty much perfect!

Don can do no wrong.

My favorite of his books yet. Couldn’t stop listening. It was thrilling to the very end.

Fast passed bad cop drama

Bad cop goes down drugs and money drives the game all the bad guys know there's always a bad cop on the force

Excellent , high interest story.

Fast paced, action, suspense , the reader was excellent . The characters were very interesting and believable.

Favorite Winslow? Pretty damn close

I don’t write reviews. Which is crappy since I rely so heavily on reviews written by others. Anyway, DAMN FINE STORY!
Narrator? Perfection. Dion Graham freaking crushed it!
A story is important but the narrator makes or breaks the Audible version. Graham made the Audible version.
