Needs better recording/editing
I really wish they'd figure out a way to cut out or minimize all the very loud & distracting inhalations on this recording. They are just horrible & really take away from the story. Other than that, this one isn't too bad.

Good series, silly book
Well, firstI must say I enjoy this series. The previous 7 books were engaging and fun to read. Unfortunately, this book, 8, falls short of what I have come to expect from this author. The plot is interesting, and the solving of the murders was imaginative. The problem lies with Danielle"s current nemesis. The accusations are too ridiculous.Even the worst gossip would not have jumped to the conclusions she comes up with. It is just too far-fetched. That part really detracted from the mystery and the detective work to solve the problems. I was disappointed that the Police Chief & friends didn't defend Danielle more vigorously.
All that said, however, a book by Bobbi Holms & Co. is still a really good read!
