I fell in love with this series after Deadly Education, and the Golden Enclaves did not disappoint. an entertaining and original story and world created by a fantastic author in Naomi Novik.

More than just a satisfying ending.
This final installment does that magical things good endings do. It brings the whole story into a new focus making you think back and aha! That's why...! Character continue to progress in the very real and natural way that Naomi Novik brings to all her books. The ending has just enough surprise to be thrilling and just enough predictability to be satisfying.
Alisha Dadia has gift for bringing genuine emotion to inner dialog. She speaks in a way that makes even the musing of a conflicted mind gripping.

So good!
I enjoyed this so much! It was a wonderful ending to the story! I was just annoyed that there was a very random lesbian relationship that felt out of place and confusing as she just lost her other love interest so I wouldn’t think she would be jumping in so incredibly suddenly. It felt jarring. But I really enjoyed this final installment to this series.

The series is so good. Had to rewind few times as these aren’t books you can listen to lightly, but always enjoyable. Was sad for this one to come to an end. Hoping there is another to follow. Can’t reccomend enough.

dark but interesting
at first I wasn't sure I'd like it as students dying a lot, but now that I've finished all 3 books it's understandable. I grew to really enjoy the reader. might have to try another one.

Wonderful ending to an excellent series.
To be honest, the first book in this series dragged for thr first half of it. Too much telling and not showing -- the exposition style felt like readimg a long essay. The second book is where it actually picked up for me. This third book is amazing. The surprises and twists were great.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the narration.
