What could be simpler? On my very first day in this world, I was given the title of a count along with all the trimmings: a castle, name, lands and power.

You'd think I had it made, but no . . . They seized my castle, took my lands, and now, I'm surrounded by enemies. Moreover, it's nothing but one headache after another with the authorities.

And even though I wrested my castle back, the neighbors aren't going anywhere, and they live and breathe to tear off chunks of my land, and eliminate me, the new head of the family.

There's just one thing I don't get. Why do they think that since I'm a healer I can't simply raze their house to the ground? Really, don't they see that fine blaze over there? Something's on fire!

Wonderfully different story

What I like about this book series and other that the others that this author writes is how different it is than the standard Isekai books, you find. This is almost like a reverse Isekai with a good main character

Structure

Just love how casual the mc is and the nonchalant execution makes the things going on even more amusing.

Good story with progression and new pet

The story had some good progression. I quite enjoyed it. The introduction of a new pet added some fun antics to the story. The new pet's portion of the story was appropriate without detracting from the main character.

I enjoyed how the main character handled just about everything. The only real issue I saw was not finishing off the current leader of his enemies in three different chances that readily came to him. There were also plenty of options for him to just go out and take off the head of the snake, but he didn't take them.

The story did progress rapidly with not a lot of time to do extra steps.

The bird was definitely my favorite part of this book. It had me laughing out loud, and the last book was also great but just didn't have time to write a review.

The store is fun and interesting. The narrator is fantastic, he really makes the character pop. Loved it and can’t wait for the next one.

Yeah not worth the credits

This series is a waste of time. The author spends 90% of the time running around in circles on bs instead of actually moving the story forward, in book one it was manageable because the author was developing the characters and setting up the world, but in book two, it devolves entirely with half the book focused on wasting time running circles around with some dumb bird, and the other half repeating the exact same information we learned in book one over and over again.

Read literally anything else, anyways I am returning this and asking for my money back, If I could I would bill audible for the time I wasted...

Bad.

To short. MC is super powerful in past life, but the author is drawing it out and while the world is magically illiterate, the MC doesn't wipe the floor of the trash. The author is just bleeding you, doesn't take KU, and forces you to burn a credit. This makes the series a waste time. You've been warned.
