Sweet book
I really enjoyed this book. It seemed slow to start but once the story progressed it became quite interesting, entertaining, engaging, sad & exciting. Stories about the Amish have always intrigued me.

short but sweet
a very sweet story that could have been fleshed out a bit more for some excitement, but a good listen. I got this book as a 2 for 1 and it was worth it. I would have been disappointed if I paid full price for it. since one credit is $16? even half is a bit much.

Darling!
Such a darling and endearing story!!! Written well with all kinds of emotions. I laughed out loud more than once!
The narrator is perhaps the best I've heard at putting the intensity of emotion into her acting that the manuscript calls for. She really brings it to life. I think the voice of the main male character is a bit better than the last book, but still room for improvement. Even so, the emotion she put in to all characters made up for it.

Loved this Book.
I do want to say that this is the first book I have read that has so much emotion. So many things happening and I found myself routing tor this and that. I do not want to give the story away. Almost might just listen to it all over again. I am going to look for another of Patricia Davids books. There were only the two in this series so there will not be anything more of the families of Cedar Grove. So well written for sure and we did hear something about the families of the first book. Thank you for this great listen.
