About this listen

His love is a secret my heart can't keep.

After years of playing the trophy, puppet, perfectionist, I've forgotten who I am. Until the boy from my past walks back into my life. Handsome as sin, charming beyond belief - Stone Rivers is temptation personified.

Our combustible chemistry shatters my resolve. His blistering kisses remind me of everything I used to want.

But our present is just as messy as our past. And reckless as it may be, I can't let him go.

My name is Regan Wilde. I'm a mother, a sister, a daughter.

But Stone and I? We're a scandal in the making.

Contains mature themes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read the next one. I love the narrators.

Relatable

I like the little details. However, the use of “I say” was annoying throughout the series.
The author was able to bring visions of what her words were saying. So job well done.

Slow but good read

I struggled with this one, not so much with the story though it started a bit slow in the beginning. It was more with the female narrator, it just didn't seem to match with the Reagan personality in the previous books. Stephen Dexter's Reagan was more convincing. The story of lies, deceit, tragedy, longing, love and destiny overall was a good read.

Great Serie - Best Story

I loved books 1 and 2 but this one tugged at my heart ❤️. Little 10 year old Stone falling for his hero and connecting as adults, wow! I listened several times

Narration enhanced the story

I've enjoyed being in the Rivers-Wild world and Reagan & Stone's story was just as good as the previous two. The author jumps around a lot with time but I feel it worked well with the story. The character build was fantastic. We learn even more about the history of their families - building upon what we learned in Hayes and Remi's books - and one twist really surprised me.
Narrators were great. A little hard to have the same ones with each book but they did a great job with the main and side characters.

Stone’s Love

Stone & Regan’s love story started when he was ten. Their relationship was an emotional roller coaster especially for Stone. The FMC suffered horribly, there were lies, deceit, pain & suffering, no cheating or angst.
The MMC made you fall in love with him.

Finally

I can’t believe it is taking me this long to finish this trilogy. I am glad that I finally did. I definitely enjoyed the Jezebel. I had to stop a few times because I had thought for sure that I had read it before, but I realized I had not. I definitely enjoyed reading about the Wilde’s and the Rivers.

Interesting second book

The second book is pretty good; the only critique I have is with Robyn’s voice, it’s so soft, breathy and lifeless to the point of boring except for narrating children voices. I love Stephen’s voice, even though his voice is also on the soft side, but what comes out of his mouth is hot and nasty at times. He is the redeeming quality that kept me listening; need more Stephen and less Robyn.

Dear god people do not talk like this

The narrators are ridiculous. The overly breathy exaggerated voices are so over the top that it completely takes away from the story. The dialogue is hot enough, it doesn’t need the exaggeration to make it work. The first epilogue (there are two) is grotesque. The behavioral Stone in this chapter makes zero sense. This could have been a good, hot, sexy story if the author and the narrators knew how to practice restraint and allow the readers imagination to do its job.
