Great book, poor audio

This fourth book in the Harry Bosch series continues to impress with Michael Connelly’s superb storytelling skills and Dick Hill’s excellent narration.
The audio is bad though. It sounds “foggy”, as it might sound if the microphone had been placed in a closed cardboard box, and I found it very annoying, but stuck with it. I hope this was a fluke with this book only and that none of the rest of the series has such poor audio quality.

Loving the series

I really like the story I will start the next book almost immediately. I prefer the books over The TV series. I like the path the books you're takand there's obviously more detail in a book than the TV series. I have enjoyed every book up to this point in the series . I look forward to reading the next one I hope throughout the series that I continue to enjoy the books. In the back of my mind there's a little part of me that wonders if I will be disappointed along the way. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Another great Bosch book

Narration was amazing as usual for these books, and the series never has disappointed yet.

I watched the Bosch series and then started listening to the books. I love the books the storyline everything. Glad I stumbled onto these.

He did it again - a terrific job!

Ghosts of the Past

Absolutely, loved it: this book reveals the story of Bosch’s upbringing, events leading upto his suspension and finally solving his mothers murder. During his investigation he meets Jazz both of them dealing with their own ghosts of the past. Dick Hill did an amazing job with the narration.

Harry's On Stress Leave

Seems that Bosch's attitude has finally done him in but that turns out not to be the case. He decides while on leave he will investigate a 30+ year old murder, his mother. The case takes him to Florida and back to LA but he uncovers lots of mysteries along the way. His world has more conspiracy theories than anyone should have to deal with but he perseveres and with some not exactly straight forward moves he solves the case. It doesn't end where it begins but he does get cleared of wrong doing. Again, Dick Hill is a superb narrator.

One of my favorite BOSCH stories

I really liked this story. I have read several newer stories and all of the older ones. This gives us a look at how it all began for Harry. It also lets us know what happened to his mother. I got a little tired of the story near the end but overall one of my favorites
