Well researched, enjoyable listen

I enjoyed listening to this title more than I thought I would. First, I want to applaud the superb audio performance from the narrator: her voice conveyed empathy and well-timed humor, while still sounding knowledgeable.

This book is well researched and your pressing questions about menopause are well covered. It's like listening to a supportive and knowledgeable friend. Some myths about menopause are busted, and various symptoms are explained with possible causes and ways to manage and still live a vibrant life.

I have a minor complaint on the overuse of analogies (e.g. "it's like a ..."), some of which are brilliant and humorous, but when used in every other sentence it's a bit much. It would bother me more if it weren't for the talented performance of the narrator.

Overall, I gained a greater understanding of menopause and feel like I'm much more prepared for what's to come -- the "dread" level has gone down as a result of listening to this title.
