Great companion book for the millionaire next door
I liked this book but, it wasn't as eye opening as the millionaire next door but I believe it's a good companion book to it. I would recommend reading that book first and then read this one to understand the mindset.

Good read, but a little dated...
I liked Dr. Stanley’s Millionaire Next Door, so I decided to read this work as well. I think parts are fascinating, but he gets a little too far in the weeds when he talks about buying habits with regard to shoes and furniture.

I want everyone I know to listen to this book.
The title, although perfectly accurate, may make many people take a pass on it because they wouldn't want to read a book about millionaires. However, this book isn't so much about millionaires as it is about people. Very ordinary people who share similar traits that eventually and after many years of applying these traits, results in an accumulation of true wealth.
Extremely well researched and written. It is not written about dry and boring statistics, but filled with stories of people with similar traits that are gleaned from a lifetime of research and data gathering.
Cotter's narration is engaging and entertaining. No disappointments. Cotter delivers and makes the book even better.

Long but worth the effort
Principles taught are not entirely unique to this genre. The science behind it is. By surveying millionaires, a formula appears for success.

Great book into the mindset of the wealthy.
This book kept my attention fairly well. I felt certain chapters were more captivating than others, but overall very worth my time. I would recommend it to others.
