Horrible production risk ruining story

Throughout the story there were lines that would repeat multiple times. It happened at pivotal times in the story which made the overall story less enjoyable.

Poor editing

The story is pretty good, and the narrator isn’t bad.... but the repetition of some sentences and phrases gets annoying.

What’s up with poor editing by professionals?

This book needs to go back to the publisher for editing. I counted at least seven times where the narrator repeated the same phrase/sentence. When publishers expect customers to pay for audiobooks, they need to have had the audio edited and proofed by others. Very disappointed in the quality of this narration.

Great domestic noir with lots of twists and turns. The book flowed really well and the characters were amazing!! Easy to follow!

Loved it!

Wasn’t expecting that twist at the end…loved this book! It did repeat a few times but not a huge deal like all the other reviews were complaining about.

This audible badly needs an edit as narrator sometime says the same line two and three times This happens throughout the audible and is extremely off putting to the story. Other than that is was an ok tale.

I thought this was a really engaging, intriguing story. My only thought was that the very ending was unnecessary. It was great without it.

Great story line. Kept my interest. Could have ended several different ways...Nice twist. Did not see the conclusion before the Author shared the ending.

Terrible

I guess after this book I've realized how many other books I owe a good review to. I'm in the last two hours of the book and I simply can't bring myself to finish it. The story has no suspense or sense of mystery. It's poorly developed and a drag.
What I'm really surprised by is the subpar quality of the audio and how audible could include such a book in its library; the narration is tinny and it is not edited properly. Several times sentences were repeated which can be really jarring when you are trying to stay involved in the book. Don't waste your money on this. If you are interested in British domestic thrillers listen to anything narrated by Imogen Church, or written by Ruth Ware. Also, BA Paris, Sandi Jones, Samantha Hayes, Sue Watson, A.M Castle. Emily Barr. I have about 100 books in my library, believe me, I know.
