Dr. G is a great speaker and physician
This lecture series is great positive reinforcement for living a healthier life now. Dr. G. goes through all facets of Natural Healing and if I remember one thing it’s that ‘food is first.’
I remember when my Aunt B died, my father received a letter a few days after her death. The part I vividly remember is that she wrote that “She was tired of taking all these pills.”
Dr. G. says that we are often “Ill to the pill “ in Western medicine. Meaning that for many reasons physicians prescribe pills and patients generally believe this is the best and only thing needed.
I’m trying to live a healthier life. It’s not easy to change my habits. I enjoy lectures like this because hearing such a compassionate physician like Dr. G. is very helpful on my journey.

I like that it is informative and it is based on facts not any one extreme side. I like that it challenged me on a few things i believe in and encouraged to dig deeper.

Covers great topics with good information. Sometimes seems a bit one sided but it is a good series of lectures to get more information and to challenge common beliefs. Enjoyed them very much, even if I didn't always like what i heard

The narrator talks way too slow with a lot of unnaturally long pauses that ruin the whole flow of the lectures.Was kind of frustrating to listen to as a result. I'm wondering if the recording was accidentally set at a slower speed when it was recorded, because when I speed it up to 1.5 times it sounds about the right speed. Another reviewer mentioned that when they set it at 1.5 times the speed it seemed right as well.

The tree analogy was good.

One of the best books I ever read

This book had so much great information. It was a breath of fresh air to have a narrator who gave scientific backing to her claims that I could go research myself. So may of the nutrition books on the market don't place emphasis on the role of the medical community within the bigger picture of holistic medicine, and I really appreciated that inclusion.

Great review
I enjoyed this. The author was a skeptic but natural healing experiences turned her into a believer. Great starting place for a new student of the subject. Informative! Enjoyable!
