Publisher's summary

Personal trainer Rebecca McCall is furious when her coworker is sidelined and she's forced to teach the “Be Your Best Bride” class. As if being a size two for your wedding photos is all for which exercise is good. Could the whole thing get more vain and sexist?

The class is full of preening, giggling bridezillas, but one woman stands out: the one who confesses she's only there because her fiancée signed her up. Who does that to someone about whom they care? And why can't Rebecca take her eyes off her?

Spencer Thompson is a second-guesser. After making the worst mistake of her life, she's happy to abdicate responsibility and let other people make her decisions for her. She's always felt a little bit too soft, a little bit too curvy in all the wrong places. Her fiancée apparently agrees because she signed Spencer up for a class at the gym.

Terrified by the online profile of the instructor, the epitome of zero body fat, Spencer is relieved to find someone new, and realistic-looking, leading the class. Except the instructor seems to hate her, and Spencer has no idea why.

When a perfectly innocent post-workout smoothie leads to an earth-shattering kiss, Rebecca wonders if she's been wrong all along, and Spencer is challenged to make another decision that could change her life forever.

Another Amazing Georgia Beers Audiobook!

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I loved the story, the narration, the characters, and I'd missed Georgia's witty dialogue. there's not a complicated plot, just real situations for each character to deal through. At 1 point in the book I was worried that the main characters wouldn't end up together. I vowed if that happened I was going to message Georgia Beers and tell her... but the ending was perfect! this really was one of those audiobooks I wish I could finish in one day. This may be my 2nd fav GB book (a Little Bit of Spice is my fav. Get immediately if you've never listened). Thanks, Georgia Beers and Lori Prince for making my work days better :)

de ja vu

I swear this was like listening to my recent relationship. I was totally unhappy but stayed in it. I was so oblivious to the fact that we were not good together.... never again

Bodies and Exercise

What a story! Wow wow wow! Georgia outdid herself with this one! The ending was totally unexpected and the narration was great!! I was glad to see a book about body size as most lady love books are always displaying the perfect body and fit! Wish there was a sequel as usual! Great read, story and characters! Once again Ms Beers has done it again! Get this book it’s awesome!

Quick listen!

Once I started listening, I didn’t stop until it was finished! Lori does a good job bringing Georgia’s characters to life. The love story has just about everything you want. I think you’ll enjoy Rebecca & Spencer’s story! I did!!!

Good, but kind of exhausting.

I love Georgia Beers, I've been slowly but surely going through her bibliography and have yet to be disappointed. Lori Prince is also one of my favorite narrators. That being said a lot of the book was frustrating and the ending left me feeling... tired I guess?

spoilers-ish

Spencer was so infuriatingly passive she had me screaming into the void for most of the book. I understand it's her major character flaw and that's a huge theme in the book, but it really, really started to grate on me. It was a trait well written though so I can't fault the book on it.

Might sound pretty....

This book was ok. Good quick read. My biggest problem was how the narrator says forward. Drove me Bonkers!!! She said Fo-ward. Not Forward... Might as well have said li-bary........ Drove me Nuts especially with how much that word was used in this audiobook.

another banger by Georgia Beers

these kind of stories are normally a hit or miss for me. this is the second book Georgia Beers has written that has challenged my comfort level. cheating is just not my cup of tea. but, this is incredibly well written. no characters to hate. just a sweet realistic human love story.

Lori Prince is an excellent narrator. I literally go out of my way to look for her narratives. she brought this story to life. love it, love her! end of

An Enduring Story of Relationships!

This is a complete relationship 101 course! What to do and what NOT to do in a relationship! I could feel Spencer's unleashed agony and Rebecca's frustrations. It's a good example of how we let our preconceived notions influence our attitudes towards others, warranted or not. A great listen so do yourself a favor and get this!
