Easy read

After finishing, I almost wish it were a longer story. It has happiness, sadness, mystery, and twists. Overall a decent recommendation for a short story that is to the point.

Well written, easy listen

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The reader was easy to listen to and the story was well written. I listened to it on my drive home from my parents house after Easter and almost had it finished when I got home. If you are looking for a quick, good read/listen this is a great choice.

Interesting storyline and easy read.

I enjoyed this book. I found the female main character very easy to relate to and also enjoyed hearing the point of view from the aunt. I also enjoyed that the author depicts that some secrets are better left unknown.

fun quick read

this was a cute little story. It was fun and easy to read. I just wish it was a little bit longer.

Romance and Mystery Mixed together Powerfully

Wow! What an incredible writer Leah Orr is! This book kept me listening for more details about the characters in the present and the past. There were so many ins and outs and so much mystery pulled along as a crime drama mixed with multiple romance stories. The ending was very satisfying as the pieces were pulled together and more surprises were discovered. Just what a good story should be. The narrator was excellent and was easy to listen to as she led me deeper into the book.

Fast read

This is a fast easy read. A little romance. a little intrigue, a little fun in a little book I enjoyed the characters and the story. I enjoyed the narrator. Overall Al great listen.

Great story!

I almost wish the story was longer. It was well written, with lots of twists and turns to hold your attention. The narrator was excellent, too (and I'm extremely particular about narrators - if he or she isn't decent, I won't even finish the book). I'm looking forward to more by this author.

A delightful way to spend the afternoon

There was a time when I would never be caught without a book in my hand, one in my purse and a stack by my bed. Now, my primary way of reading is listening while I commute and while I work. As a Florida native, this book sparked my interest. It deals with a she shed, retirees, family ties, a bit of comedy, a side of mystery and a surprise twist at the end. The story was easy to follow and still focus on my job at hand. The narrator was pleasant and I would list to other books that she performs. This was my first book by Leah Orr but it won’t be my last. As an additional FYI, when you support this author, her book profits are donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. How cool is that!

Fun Summer Read

This was a quick & fun read! There was enough mystery to keep you hooked with a side of romance. I enjoyed learning more about the characters and was intrigued by how the story came together!
