Great narration and fun "you go girl" story

I liked the characters and the empowering transitions of the lead. It was a wonderful chick flick type book with enough glamour, travel, and rich gay friends to keep anyone entertained.

Great fun read

If you could sum up The Single Girl’s To-Do List in three words, what would they be?

You go girl!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved all 3 main characters.

What does Cassandra Harwood bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Just the thought of how strong we really are when we put our mind to it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The almost end!

Any additional comments?

Loved the story, how friends help and how your life changes.

Pretty good

Pretty good - not as good as Always the Bridesmaid though - the characters were not as likeable.

Fun Story, Boring Narration

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend the book to friends who like chick lit, but the actual written book-- not the audio book. The narrator read the book without any type of energy or flair. I think it could have been a great book if she had not half-slept through the performance.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Single Girl’s To-Do List?

Some of the actual items on the list were fun. It was quite predictable, but the sort of fluff I was looking for.

Would you be willing to try another one of Cassandra Harwood’s performances?

NO. She has a great voice, honestly, but she had no energy. Everything was very flat.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Probably. I think with a few edits and a focus on the actual to-do list instead of the predictable romance, it could make for a funny movie. I think the movie, if edited correctly would be funnier than the book

Any additional comments?

If you're looking for fluff chick lit, pick up the book and skip the audio version.

Loved it!

I really enjoyed this one. it's a chick-lit, easy, funny, carpe diem - make changes type of book. I have heard it twice and loved it both times. only problem I have with this book is that the main character keeps calling her friend as her 'gay friend'. it bugged me. she didn't called her other friend as her 'straight friend'. both other than that, I really liked ir.

Perfect road trip book

I loved this book. I normally don't read non-fiction but I wasn't in the mood to listen to anything else on my road trip down California. This was perfect and I can't wait to download and hear more books from this author. It will make you laugh.
