Wendy Wasserstein's finest

The casting was great, the performance was great, the audio capture was fabulous! Audio editor included just enough audience reaction to remind you that this was definitely recorded live.

I miss Wendy Wasserstein and her work so very much.

funny and fun

This is very enjoyable listening and I laughed at all the funny characters and what they had to say. The different actors portraying the different characters are all excellent. It's quite different than an audiobook because there is music and sounds and dramatic interpretation of the parts. It tells about the sister's lives and loves and is excellent in every way.

dated play full of pretentious characters

Ugh! This play I just found annoying. The characters were pretentious, most of them had that dated, artificial way of speaking and all that standing around tossing not so funny bon mots and not that interesting, cliche-ridden reflections on womanhood. I wanted to like it as Wendy Wasserstein is considered one of the great 20th century writers on femininism. But this play with its oh so prententious characters, lame jokes and moldy themes was a real slog to get through.
