About this listen

From New York Times best seller Angie Fox, the second book in the new Southern Ghost Hunter mysteries.

A haunted library is no place for a girl who can see ghosts, but when Verity Long stumbles on a dead body in the middle of the main reading room, she has to believe someone...even a dead someone...must have witnessed the crime. Her ghostly sidekick, Frankie, warns her to stay out of it. The very alive, very handsome deputy sheriff Ellis Wydell inadvertently places her directly in the middle of it. And her ex-fiancé, Ellis' brother, is back with an agenda of his own. Undaunted, Verity presses forward, uncovering scandalous secrets, long-forgotten ghosts, and a shocking trail of clues that places her directly in the path of a killer.

Take a walk into a new world of mystery

What an enjoyable mystery. Great and wonderful characters with a mystery to solve. I felt all the transitions of going from a sad soul to unraveling a puzzle of the past to perhaps a healthy happy future.

Crimes of a Corpse

Another good mystery with Verrity and Policeman Ellis. They are turning into quite the detecting duo.Ellis's family name and honor might be in jeopardy due to a long ago lie about the Historical battle of their town.Turns out,all kinds of lies and skeletons are hidden in the proverbial closet.

Another Hit In a Wonderful Series

These are just awesome books! The 5th grade science project must have been something to see!! Wish I could have! I wish Beau would find someone to love and leave Verity to her own devices!! This book packs one awesome ending!! Sure wish that there were another book or two in the series for me to read..........now!

Fun paranormal series continued

I'm really enjoying the adventures of Verity Long. Love her skunk, Lucy, and find her developing relationship with her ex-fiance's brother intriguing. With the ghosts we get history and I love that so this is a treat for me.

Tavia Gilbert's narrating was a little over the top in the first book, but she gets better as the stories progress.

Cute and average

It was entertaining. Cute average. I'll forget about it by the time I read the next book sorry to say. Maybe just not my niche.
