Publisher's summary

Raised in two worlds. Accepted by neither. Only he can save them both.

The Orcs of Scell live a hard and dangerous life. Plagued by constant infighting among the clans, outside raiders and pirates, and worse. It is a life that allows no growth as a people.

One Orc sought a way out of the cycle of social decay, but at great cost.... His head was taken, and his eldest son, Thun, was sent off to learn with humans.

Now Thun, trapped between and shunned by two worlds, returns to find his clan near ruin and his kind living worse than ever. Driven by his father's dream, Thun will fight to unite the Orcs and save his people. No matter what it takes.

Evil is awakening, and it will take Thun and the entire Stormrage Clan to stop it in book one in the Age of Doom LitRPG series.

Orcs, tiger mounts, war...it's got everything fans of the genre will love!

If Classic WoW was a LitRPG

I enjoyed this story. The performance by Michael Kramer was as always top notch. The story told from the point of view of an Orc was a fun change and I found myself really connecting to the characters. It really feels like this could have taken place in Azeroth and I really liked that as Warcraft has some of my favorite lore. Highly recommend this to fans of LitRPGs or fans of Warcraft.

Unique and fun!

A lit-rpg that is very inspired by Warcraft 3, but with a unique lore and fun characters and story. Fantastic, and a recommended read!

I'm attracted stories told from a monster's POV!

I enjoyed this book, why would I not? It's performed by Michael Kramer and I find myself attracted to stories told from a monster's point of view! And in this book we find that there's more deadlier monsters out there than an Orc named Thun and his band!
So yeah grab the book 'cause Michael Kramer has a story for you.

Here's a quote that I found amusing...

"Follow me Orkie boys I will show where the others come to talk at us."

Surprising and refreshing take on Lit RPG.

Thankfully it doesn't start with a resurrection like in most other Lit RPG. The MC starts out with world appropriate knowledge. Another great plus is how he mentally handles the system and the prompts. Doesn't spend too long with stats or explanations of the system. Hints of Brandon Sanderson writing style throughout the audiobook. Aethon has made another solid performance bringing in the legend Michael Kramer.

An Homage to Warcraft

if you have played the video games Warcraft 3 or World of Warcraft this book is for you. everything about this story is an homage to those blizzard games. there are plenty of stats and progression if that is what you're looking for. overall it is very enjoyable and well worth the time.

Intelligent orcs 💚

A.R Hollaways writing is cleverly creative, mixing humor, hedious baddies, normality and violence.
The Storms Rage trots along at a pacey clip. Contained a pleasing amount of concice details of backstory, world, magic, characters, the interface system and MCs thought processes.

Michael Krammers delivers a talented performance.
I was given this book at my request and am voluntary leaving a review. Thankyou Aethon audio.
