Not one of my favorites
I love Portia Macintosh books because they’re always light and fun. This started slow and only picked up much later. An ok story, but definitely not one of her best IMO

Woman looking for a date
I am frustrated with a story that centers around a woman looking for self-worth by bringing a date to a wedding. It is a frustrating, gender stereotype that a woman is not good enough on her own. In this case, she was rescued by a rich man… a bit frustrating. The narrator was fabulous.
