not as good as 1-3

The reader messes up names. really ruins the immersion. I don't know if it's her fault or if that's what she was given to read.

Demigod Academy book 4

Wow! At the beginning of the book Melany is still trying to come to terms with Hades death. She has to find out what is wrong with time and the Fates. What a cliffhanger at the end. Can't wait to see what happens next.

ending will have you wanting more

I like this book. Not my favorite of the series. I felt that it was slow at the beginning but by the end of this book I was needing more. By the end of this book I remembered why like this series. I can hands down say I want to know what the next book has in store.

frustrating

Let me begin by saying the story itself is actually quite interesting. However, the reading is very disappointing. On several occasions names of characters are mixed up and you have to stop and think to make sense of what is happening. Not to mention the readers penchant for mispronounced names and words. The overall effect is disconcerting. I would also like to point out that it sounds like your smoke detector needs new batteries. The chirping in the recording had me searching my own house for the problem. I don't think this particular book is worth the credit I spent to purchase it. Highly recommend the author make a new recording.

Shame On You

I have enjoyed this series so far. The storyline is great. But why do you change narrators in book 4 when the narrators in books 1-3 were superb? (Thus the 4 star rating in overall and performance).

What happened?

I like these books but....... Who is Reyna? Wasn’t her name Ravena? Also, why did we change Lucien’s voice? Sorry but I don’t like the new guy. Also. Who is Dem-it-or? Isn’t it pronounced De-meat-Er? Why were pronouncements changed in this book? I like the books but this was a standout (and annoying) and I’m sure these things are in the next books as well.

bring back the old narrators!

the story is great but the new readers mispronounced many words and names. The voices were very corny and unrealistic and the reading was dramatic in places it shouldn't be. These narrators are not good at all and it was super distracting. If I didn't want to hear and finish the story so much I would have returned the purchase and got my credit back. The narrators who read the first 3 books need to be brought back!

Love this series so far

Great story, however I am annoyed at the mispronunciation of words by the narrator. Otherwise, I love it!

Why

The other three were awesome, although very short…I was stoked for this one but am very upset. I have been binge reading these and got stuck on this one because of how frustrating it is. The new voice reader was disappointing off the bat. The previous one was great and I loved how she did it. A new reader makes it seem like a different character. Which brings me to the main character, the others seem the same but they made her feel so different in this book(not because of the shift of power, just bad different..like a whole different person). The biggest frustration though is the constant recap? Like why? The books are already so short and they spend SOOOO MUUUCHH TIIMMEE. Re-capping everything from the other books. It sucks that the author did this, like people wouldn’t read the other three before this? Why do they need to constantly recap every little thing and re-describe every situation, interaction, character…it is so frustrating to listen to. Also too much focus on her being some dark demented thing now, like obviously she was headed that way, but her character always stayed the same throughout the other books, even with the darkness. She was always good. In this multiple people
Reference her being bad, mean, selfish? And she agrees with all of it…Very opposite to her character previously. Idk very sad and frustrated with this book. I hope the next one goes back to the first three’s over all vibe, that they STOP RE-Capping everything, and fingers crossed the previous reader comes back for the next few.
