Publisher's summary

Hot on the trail of a troupe of diamond and emerald embezzlers comes super sleuth Mr J. G. Reeder, Edgar Wallace's master creation of a detective who confesses to having the mind of a criminal. Reeder's techniques for solving cases are unique, most notably because he was "... a gentleman who liked to work in an office where the ticking of a clock was audible and the turning of a paper produced a gentle disturbance".

The Troupe is Casefile Number 3 which is also included in Casefile Numbers 1,2,3 and 4 from The Mind of Mr J G Reeder by Edgar Wallace.

Great story and enjoyable to listen to :)

What made the experience of listening to The Troupe the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the different characters and the path that the story was able to take the listener to in a short space of time. I don't have much time to read as much as I'd like, or even to listen , so a 38 minute story with a twist was perfect for me!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It was a good plot as it had enough to keep me interested and a good ending.

What does David Robins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I easily imagined being in a riverside property and his well spoken English adds an extra depth to the characters.
