Not about the book at all
I’ve only made it to chapter ten but considering I’ve read the other ones I know I’ll love this one too. My problem is the female narrator! Whyyyyy does she end most of her words with an “uh” sound, it’s so painfully distracting and I’m having such a hard time listening.

Ahnna is relatable AF
I love this entire series so so sooo much. Although this one had less war and battle scenes than some of the previous duets, I can already tell there’s something BIG coming in the final book.
Ahnna is heartbreakingly relatable. She seems to be like a lot of us who want to “save the world” but their words and actions don’t necessarily portray their true, good hearted intentions and then they end up in a sticky situation. Hearing Ahnna’s perspective on her parents and grandmother was also amazing to hear because it’s a very different tone than when we hear/heard Aren speak of them. Which just makes it all the more relatable!
James is a sweet boy that deserves to be protected at all costs. I’m so excited for the second half of their story.

This series is so cohesively outstanding
Every single book is a masterpiece, I really can’t wait for the next book and hopefully more 😭
I love how previous main characters still have their distinct personalities in subsequent books. I honestly did not want this to end 10/10
The world building politics and deception 💯💯
The narration was excellent.
I absolutely love Ahnna definitely my favorite character after Lara 💯💯

Schemes, lies, and twists!
I’ve struggled with Ahnna as a character throughout the series— until now! I’ve fallen in love with her and this book does such a great job of understanding the inner workings of her mind! I was in the edge of my seat the entire time and I’m dying to get ahold of the next book to get answers to all my impending questions! Seriously, I couldn’t stop listening until the end! And don’t get me started on James— Danielle is constantly making me swoon over the men she writes!

Now to wait for Book 6
I should have realized when the other characters / story lines had 2 book arcs that this one wouldn’t be any different. I can hardly wait for Book 6 to come out in the Bridge Kingdom series so I can see how the finale goes to the entire series. It’s been a good one to follow through via Audible.

Fantastic!
Another fabulous story in the Bridge Kingdom series. Not only is the story excellent but the dual narration is wonderful. I was pulled into this story, the voices were perfect and performed so well I was able to visualize everything. Well done!
