THE INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!

Starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews * Publishers Weekly * Library Journal

Named a “Must-Read” by TODAY, Us Weekly, Bustle, BuzzFeed, Goodreads, Entertainment Weekly, Publishers Weekly, Southern Living, Book Riot, Woman’s Day, The Toronto Star, and more!

For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime—maybe even love—in this romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling authors of Roomies.

Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion...she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas.

Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there’s a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo.

Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is...Olive doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be.

With Christina Lauren’s “uniquely hilarious and touching voice” (Entertainment Weekly), The Unhoneymooners is a romance for anyone who has ever felt unlucky in love.

3.5 Stars

I liked this book and recommend it but I was never completely in love with it. It is really entertaining and has some really funny parts. It is a hate to lovers contemporary fiction book. There is no hanky panky on page. Nothing further than a kiss.

Great book!

I loved this book. It’s laugh out loud funny and I will definitely listen to it again. The narrators did a great job with voice changes and inflections. I’ll look for another book by this author.

Fantastic story but not a good narrator match

These women are amazing storytellers but the narrators are always off the mark for me. Well, 75% of the time, this one included. I loved the narrators for Hazel & Josh and Words and hoped it would continue but again I felt her voice was not the best choice. Good for a one time listen but not a repeat like some of their others. I’ll just reread the books because honestly these two fantastic writers can’t go wrong in my eyes.

A good, multi faceted story

I think I would’ve enjoyed this book if I had read it. I felt like the woman’s voice constantly shifting to sound like the man’s voice was distracting. And when they actually shifted narrators to the man for the last 20 minutes, he sounded so much like John Malkovich that I could barely focus on the climatic ending.

Definitely a FAV

Being totally honest, I have never been Christina Lauren's top fan. I mostly felt all of her stories had been done and redone. BUT...I did really enjoy this book. I really enjoyed both of the narrators. Sometimes you need one of those reads in between your 'serious' reads and this one is PERFECT for that!
