When a tourist catamaran explodes off the coast of the Hawaiian island of Kauai, Kaia and her trained dolphin, Nani, rush to aid the search and rescue effort. After hours of searching, an exhausted Kaia is pulled from the water by Lieutenant Commander Jesse Matthews of the US Navy.

Exciting adventure story!
Although this wasn't one of my favorite books, I'm very glad I read it! I loved the adventure and nature part of it as well as learning about mysteries of the past! I recommend it - great read!
P.S. The narrator does a great job as well!!
