I ask this question because our world seems unhinged. Disease, disunity, disorder, disappointment, and disaster are all around us. The world is a mess, and we are wallowing in it. Don’t you wonder how THIS can be God’s plan?
The purpose of this book is to give you peace. If you don’t have peace, it may be because you haven't considered that God’s plan is bigger than this historical moment. It spans all eternity. Why suffer under needless anxiety and tension when you can have peace?
If you’re a stressed-out Christian struggling with doubt during these troubling times, seeing God’s plan in creation, the Fall, redemption, and the promised restoration will reassure your wavering faith. You’ll have confidence that God has a plan for whatever He allows to happen. Think about how that confidence would change your life. You wouldn’t live in fear and doubt. Confidence in God increases your faith.
If you’re a skeptic, I once was too. Believing in a God who permits all He does is hard. If you’re willing to consider that God exists and is working out his plan, this book may give you a new perspective. Instead of questioning God, you can have peace with Him and the world. You wouldn’t judge a movie on a single frame of film. Don’t judge God’s plan based on this moment in time. God has a plan, and He’s in control.
