I seldom leave reviews…

But had to leave this one because it’s a must-read. I’m a junkie of this genre and I’m telling you this one is worth your time. Audio performance is well done, story is solid, and the final twist totally shocked me.

Another Great Read

Great storyline, well thought out and full of twists. The narrator did an excellent job.

Some obvious “holes” in the story

Too little building of character recognition caused me confusion in following the story initially. The fingerprint from the camp cabin window was puzzling. Jacquelyn took her picture and told no one of her abuse, so how would they have identified her later. But overall worth a listen tho not an Audible credit 😔

Alex, the gunslinger, An Oh My Ending

Great daily deal with Shelly’s review and Wayne’s approval. It doesn’t get much better than that. I just purchased based on that As their reviews always have merit. I like this new narrator for me. This author is also new to me so l purchased this month deal, Twenty Years Later, which this narrator also reads.
This was a fast action read and very entertaining.

STOP REPEATING THE SAME INFO TO FILL SPACE

This was a great story.. however it got frustrating hearing the exact same details over and over AND OVER.. seems to be a theme these days to add chapters give the reader more credit for memory retention and following the characters.

Follow up

Has this narrator never heard words before? And did no one check it before release. The word chi as in Delta Chi is pronounced with a K sound not a ch sound.

Charlie Donlea never disappoints!

I listened to all 7 of his books back-to-back and hate that there aren’t more! It kept me guessing the entire time and as usual, the ending was not what I was expecting. My only complaint was the narrator’s mispronouncing the Greek letter Chi - that drove me nuts! It’s not tea, it’s a Greek lettter. I’m ready for the next one!

At first, I wondered why so many new characters were being introduced, but slowly they all seemed to come together in a perfect way. Lots of twists and turns and I loved it.

Excellent story and narration

This story, along with the narrator, kept me listening for hours at a time with ease. I was all in and really impressed with the plot and surprises.

Great book, horrible narrator!

I love Charlie Donlea’s books, but the audio versions with the mechanical voice of Vivienne Leheny are annoying to listen to. I wish he would choose someone else to narrate.
