Emmy Sanders has done it again. I absolutely loved this book. Adored Ellis & Lucky sooo much. Their friendship was so special. And their HEA was well earned. Everyone needs to read this book! Amazing narration by Blake Lockheart & Liam DiCosimo

The Quiet One

I absolutely love Elis being on the spectrum. Even though he doesn't say much, his presence and intentions are loud and clear. And Lucky? I adore how he just "gets" Elis and they have that unspoken communication. Totes adorbs and they tickled my happy feelings. 😊

Lucky Blue!!!

I loved the story this author brought to life between these two characters. The pining! And omg… Ellis is the absolute best! The way he loves lucky and to see the world through his eyes is just beautiful.

Wonderful book! Well developed main characters that you'll love. A sweet yet heartbreaking story you can't put down. A bit of magic and a lot of beauty. Loved it!

i’m a sucker for friends to lovers and omg these two!!! it was so sweet and hot and overall such a good listen. kinda wish that it wasn’t a standalone but also…. it’s perfect like that.

Perfect

This book broke my heart in slow motion, then put it back together again. I will remember Lucky and Ellis for the rest of my life. This book is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read and I just wish I could have known them more. I would have read a thousand pages of their childhood memories and it never would have been enough. I love, love, love this book and I will never get over it.

Beautiful story

This is a beautiful heartfelt story that will stay with me for a very long time. It’s a story about 2 child hood friends growing into adulthood.
The narrators were amazing at bringing these special characters to life.
I highly recommend this book.

Best Romance Ever

The relationship between Ellis and Lucky is by far the most heart wrenching, heartbreaking and purest love story I have ever read. It pulled me in to the point that when I had to run errands, I immediately bought the audible version so I wouldn't have to miss even a moment. Smiles and tears and gut-wrenching perfection in every chapter. Thank you for bringing this story to life. It was beautiful and I am so very glad that I took a chance on it.

And I thought I cried before

Every time I read this book, I cry so when I found out about the audiobook, I knew I had to have it. I’m not one to listen to audiobooks. I much prefer the characters in my imagination but I couldn’t resist. Boy, am I glad I gave in!! Listening to the audiobook as I read along just made everything that much more perfect. I am a literally blubbering mess. Well done.

Stunning

This book was easily top 5 of the year. It’s absolute poetry for the soul. But HEARING it? Oh man. I was so worried how Ellis would be portrayed but Blake 💯 came through for me. His slow cadence was just… ugh. Perfection. This book put me in a slump because nothing hit quite like it, and I can just FEEL the audio doing it as well.
