Rachel True—beloved for her role in the cult classic movie The Craft—shares her tarot knowledge, gained through a lifetime of practice. Accessible and conversational, this guidebook, which is compatible with any tarot deck, helps listeners use the cards as True does: with an intuitive approach. She shares personal stories from her experiences in Hollywood to illuminate how to personalize the meaning of each card and how—much in the way Carl Jung used them in his practice—tarot offers wisdom based on the listener's present energy.

Download True Heart Intuitive Tarot for tarot readings on the go or for use with your own deck.

“That's the beauty of tarot; you don't need any special talents. Just your open mind. You can pick up your own deck, clear your energy, and feel empowered doing it. The only thing you'll be summoning is your own intuition, insight, and connection to spirit.” (Rachel True, from True Heart Intuitive Tarot)

The format of information makes this easy to understand

I like the way this book addressed all the elements of tarot, and presents them in a universal way to apply to any deck. The author/narrator’s perspective and voice is very agreeable and enchanting.

A Real and fun read; fantastic take on the Tarot

I am on my second listen, with Ms. Rachel True's beautiful Tarot cards in hand this time. I am very impressed with this young woman, with her Tarot and life knowledge, and her willingness to share intimate details of her inner thoughts on her journey. She narrates the book herself and it is a spirited, spunky and entertaining performance in my opinion. The whole experience of this book is life, and Tarot, affirming for me. I am definitely pleased that I came across her creation(s).

A fun listen

I like her voice, she's a fun story teller of her life. I like her life examples of what the cards can teach us. In this book there's some spread breakdowns, card definitions, and how to listen to your intuition. I really enjoyed this book.

AMAZING! The tarot explanation i didn’t think existed

I can’t stress how AMAZING this audible is. I wish it were a tangible book i could buy. It took me a while to get through because i literally was taking notes of every single thing she said. I paid for audible for 3 extra months so i could still have access to it.
I’m newer to tarot, and within the last 3 years I’ve read and watched so many different things from people explaining tarot, and NONE have been as explicitly clear or gotten through to me the way Rachel’s has.

I am a fan of her work on screen but this audible really was great. I’ve recommended it to 3 friends.

Fantastic

So amazing. I read primarily with the True Heart Intuitive Tarot and love the way Rachel combines the card readings with her personal stories. It helps provide depth and context. I would recommend this deck and audiobook to any tarot reader!

Really enjoyed this!

I really enjoyed this book, even if the names for tarot were different, the meaning of the cards were the same. I always acquired some useful information

Great biography, tarot is a bonus.

You don't need to know anything about tarot to read this book, which is a guide that can also be bought with a physical card deck. The format is innovative and frames anecdotes from Rachel True's life as an actor. Her story, and her conversational narration paint the portrait of a likeable, interesting and witty woman. The anecdotes also make memorable mnemonics for recalling card meanings.

Nothing special here

There are lots of great books on the tarot by Rachel Pollack, Benebell Wen, Meg Jones Wall, Cassandra Snow, and Yoshi Yoshitani. Rachel True doesn't bring much to the table beyond the basics and a mild biography.

Also, you can't drop terf/far right lingo like "gender ideology" and think yourself inclusive of the LGBT community. that's like a stone's throw away from cringey inspirational quotes from JK Rowling common to other occult books from a few years ago when some of us already knew who she really was. Maybe it wasn't written from a cruel place, but it still comes off dense and off-putting.
